Technique Classes

We will be adding technique classes for the summer- come add to your skills with these one time classes.

Monday July 9  1-3pm – Building Blocks with Julia

Join in at anytime to build your basic skills while knitting a throw.

Some in the class are still working on the original book one.

While others have graduated to book two and are now working with color.  Call to sign up.  This class meets once a month.

Monday July 16  1-3pm Intarsia with JoAnne

Intarsia is a technique of making areas of color in your knitting without carrying the yarn behind.  This technique allows for flexible color changes.  Yarn kits will be available.  You will need bobbins and size 7 needles.

Monday July 23-  12:30 – 3:30pm

Weaving 201 with Lynn

In this 3 hour class you will examine 4 colorwork designs as worked in Fantasy Naturale on a loom you will prewarp prior to class.  Loan looms available.   Class fee is $35.  2 hanks of Fantasy naturale cotton (solids) are also required.  Call to register and for more information on this Level 2 class.
