Hat Not Hate

Our Blue Hat project for Donegan Elementary School continues.
FREE Pattern to download here.
The Knitter’s Edge is joining Louis Boria to create 600 hats for a Donegan Elementary School program in the Fall. Blue is the color of Anti Bullying awareness, just as Pink is the color of Breast Cancer awareness. We ask you to consider making a blue hat for your holiday knitting- its super portable and so needed.
We have 200 hats collected- but need 400 more in 10 weeks. You do not have to use our yarns, although we would like you to. We offer Encore as a well priced choice but the big box stores have yarns like Red Heart Worsteds or Woolease by Lion Brand that will work well too. Try the pattern above, or use your own- just make sure your finished hat will fit a child.
Thank you for all your help.
A new fingering yarn that will amaze you! All 12 colors are stunners, and as soft as can be. The Lurex sparkles so!
Just look at these colors and check out these designs.
Plus… more designs coming soon.
