It’s Been 10 Years!

The Knitter’s Edge held its Grand Opening on April 18, 2009. For Amanda & me, that day was filled with excitement and fear. Would we make it?
Well, 10 years later, we are going strong! We are so grateful for our wonderful customers and outstanding staff who have made us what we are today.
And we are very thankful for each other.
So to our entire TKE Family, we raise our needles in gratitude for
10 wonderful years. Here’s to all of you!

New Beginner’s Class
Tuesdays 3:30 – 5:30 with Regina
Begins April 2
This will be a class with a theme- “Washcloths are a Great Way to Learn”. Using Fantasy Naturale cotton, Regina will help you work your way through many techniques- learning new knitting skills -one cloth at a time. Please call to sign up.

New Beginner’s Class- Knit & Crochet
Saturdays 1-3pm with Becky
Begins April 6
Starting Saturday April 6, Becky’s Saturday afternoon class will become
a beginner’s class- both knit & crochet, with a strong focus on techniques. Please call to sign up, just so we know who’s coming.
Beginning Mosaics with JoAnne
Tuesday April 9 | 6:30 – 8:30pm
Mosaic knitting is easy, yielding impressive results. Learn the technique while making a washcloth with Fantasy Naturale. Yarn kits available. Bring size 7 needles.
Call to sign up. Learn this, then on to the larger mosaic shawl project!

DK weight yarn.

Weaving 101 wth Lynn
Tuesday May 14 & 21 | 3:30 – 7:00pm
Learn to weave with our beginner’s class on the Cricket Rigid Heddle Loom. Class includes 6.5 hours of class, loan of the loom, all handouts, plus yarn for your first project- a scarf. Only 6 students per class. Cost: $85

Monday April 22 | 1-3pm
Learn to work short rows while making a cloth with Fantasy Naturale.

Needlefelting with Lauren
Saturday April 27 | 1-3pm
Needlefelting is fun! You can needlefelt onto a flat piece or you can create 3D creatures such as this snail. So many options! Call to sign up. This class does fill up!

History of Knitting with Pat
Saturday April 27 | 1-3pm
Pat will continue her lecture series (now it’s a series) with History of Knitting in the Scandinavian countries, as well as Iceland, Eastern Europe, the Faroe Islands and the Baltic. Call to sign up, and bring your knitting. Part 3- Coming soon:

Skill Builder CAL
Wednesdays 4-6pm with Becky
Begins May 1
On May 1, Becky will take up Edie Eckman’s Skill Builder CAL project.
