Charity Knitting

Each Fall we ask our community to share in a charity knit & crochet project for needy residents of the Lehigh Valley.  This year, with the Help of Mother Laura,  we have identified the following needs:  Scarves and warm socks.
The soup kitchen has a full box of hats ready to go, but they need scarves and cowls- for men (mostly) & women.
As we did last year, TKE will also be collecting packages of socks for adults to be handed out at the soup kitchen.  Clean, dry socks are some of the most needed items for the homeless during the winter months.

On your next shopping trip- please consider adding a package of cotton socks to your basket.  It will be a God send to someone in need.
And if you need a scarf or cowl pattern- just ask.
This week, consider this great 1 ball cowl pattern:

Imagination Cowl:  perfect for a man or a woman.

Needs just 1 –100g ball of Imagination- an acrylic prefelted look yarn.  Fast knitting.  FREE pattern.
Thank you
