More Afghan Ideas for February

The largest Encore-a bulky weight fast knit.

Arequipa Worsted is Superwash Merino and Silk- Luscious!
A 2ply Highland Wool - slightly textured.
Encore Dynamo Log Cabin Throw

Appalachian Baby Afghan

This baby Afghan Kit comes in pink and blue.  All organic cotton- made in USA.

Yarn of the Week- 10% off-
Superior
on sale 2/14/17 to 2/20/17

Filatura Di Crosa Superior

A supersoft blend of cashmere, silk, and merino, perfect for lace and all fine knitting projects. The luxurious quality of this fine, brushed yarn is echoed in its sophisticated palette of solid colors.

Superior Cowl- FREE at TKE

Just one ball of Superior Cashmere/Silk Blend will knit up into this featherweight cowl.

A classic that can be knit with 1-2 balls of Superior. So very soft and light.

And now for a Public Service Announcement

The cold dry air of February can cause your hands to get very dry and rough; and can even cause cracks to develop.  Rough hands can cause your knitting work to fuzz & pill.  And those cracks- well they just plain hurt!
I have just found O'Keeffe's Working Hands - and it really does work- helping with the dryness and the cracking.  Plus, its not greasy at all so you can keep on knitting!
Just my PSA for the day...

What's New?

Joe Cole of What The Flock yarns has created a Yarn color of the month. February is Katy Perry Month. January was Chaka Khan.

This January colorway from Joe is absolutely STUNNING!
The Yak content lends brown undertones to the purple, turquoise & gold.  Wow does that ever give these color depth!
Chaka Khan colorway-- my personal favorite.

New Knitting Bags from Thailand have just arrived. Several new styles and colorways available. Carry your projects in style!
