 I crochet
This week Pat continues to teach Beginning Crochet on Tuesday nights from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.  The class is full, but there are still openings on the last Tuesday- July 27.  She will also be starting a daytime crochet class- all levels of crochetters welcome.  Class will be held on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 - 12:00.
For those in the class tonight- July 13- bring a size G or H hook if you have one,  We supply the yarn to start.  We also have hooks available at the shop for purchase.
The first class was a huge success.  The full class worked hard and concentrated on the task at hand.  By the end of the 2 hours all were crochetting- working single crochets and double crochets.  Several were starting projects.  If you are not signed up for a class yet- call soon cause we still have a few openings for July 27.
Blue Heron Coming to The Knitter's Edge
BLUE HERON YARNS is coming this Thursday.  We are giving everyone a heads-up cause we want you to come in and pick your own skeins of these handpainted beauties.  We plan on carrying the same 3 yarns we have so far:  Rayon Metallic, Soft Twist Rayon, and Egyptian Mercerized Cotton (1000 yd hanks).  The owners of Blue Heron Yarns will be bringing their inventory of these fine yarns for us to hand pick, and we want your help.  These are absolutely beautiful yarns and you will get the very best selection if you can make it in while these handdye artists are here.

So anyway- here's what we know:  Blue Heron is planning on being at The Knitter's Edge sometime Thursday afternoon.  Call late Wednesday or early Thursday for a better time estimate.  We plan on letting customers come into the room - just a few at a time- to choose hanks of yarn which we will purchase.  If you can't make it in, please call us to tell us what kinds of colors you prefer.  We want to purchase far more than we did the last time as these yarns were so well received by our customers.
