A Big Thank You

On Monday, Louis Boria of BrooklynBoyKnits and many volunteers put a blue hat on every single head at Donegan Elementary and Broughal Middle Schools in Bethlehem as part of our HatNotHate program.
Louis made the message clear:
Blue Represents Anti Bullying, and Bullying is Bad!
If you see someone being bullied, or you feel you are being bullied, speak up and tell someone: a parent or a teacher.
We all need to work together to make bullying stop!
We handed out well over 1000 hats to a very cheery and receptive crowd.
Our many thanks to all who knit and tagged
over 1650+ hats for this project.
We could not have accomplished this without you.

New Yarns Arriving

Adriafil Stellato

At a first glance, Stellato looks like a simple caged yarn; however, every fiber is specifically combined to make it soft and vaporous. In fact, there are four mixed tops of wool, rayon, and nylon juxtaposed and surrounded by a colorful polyester tubing, which draws an intriguing diamond pattern on the thread.
7 colors available. 115 yards/50g ball!

We will be collecting both full size (preferred) and travel size supplies which will be distributed to local soup kitchens and shelters.
We suggest:
