Welcome Pada

100% Superwash Uruguayan Merino
440 yds/100g hank.
A 4-ply fingering weight yarn, uniquely spun for extra durability and strength, without the nylon! This is a bouncy, superwash Merino yarn that is perfect for hard wearing socks or for drapey shawls with beautiful stitch definition.
Due to the unique spin of Pada, colors come out different, with slight variations in the color almost resembling handspun.

ladies sanitary products, shaving supplies.
We will be collecting items at TKE through Thanksgiving.
Thank you for helping.

Help for Those with Dementia

Last Sunday we held the 12th Annual Prayer Shawl Gathering which is a coming together of many of the prayer shawl groups in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. There, we were introduced to a new helpful project for those with dementia. It is called a fidget sleeve.
Dementia patients are often frustrated with extra energy and a case of ‘the fidgets’ that can be alleviated by giving them something to do with their hands. This sleeve provides different textures through a variety of stitches and embellishments such as buttons, tassels, beads, and pompoms, so idle fingers can find a variety of sensations. There are even hidden beads on the inside for added entertainment. Great use for leftover yarns!
A Knit muff using leftover yarns- FREE pattern is here but use your imagination to add embellishments.
A crochet version of a fidget sleeve. Again a FREE Pattern to give you a base sleeve for embellishing.
