Yesterday was our 8th Annual Charity Knitting retreat.  It was a wonderful success with over 110 people attending!

So many crafters helping us to knit & crochet chemo caps and soft knit socks for those undergoing chemotherapy.

Our many thanks to those who came to knit & crochet.  Look for another retreat next year in May.  This was truly a wonderful day- full of good work for those in need.
All proceeds from the day went to help support the Retreat Center, and all who came were very generous.  We thank you all.

One of the knit chemo caps- more than half way done!  FREE patterns are always available for Chemocaps, and our local oncology units report that they need them now- in cotton or cotton blend yarns- such as Jeannee Worsted.

The yarn used at the retreat was Jeannee Worsted- an ultra soft blend of cotton and acrylic.  Machine washable & dryable for easy care.
This week, we have additional yarn and patterns available for these socks.  Get the pattern FREE with your purchase of Jeannee- 2 balls makes the short cuff, 3 balls makes the tall cuff.  FREE pattern available while they last.
