    Look What’s New!

Neve from Juniper Moon Farms
New colors!  Boy do these ever dress up spring.
Everyone who sees this new collection is really WOWed by these colors.  I especially love that they have added a peachy coral- a color that has been missing in yarn palettes for several years.
Neve is a soft 100% cotton in a chainette construction that makes it very lightweight.  222 yards/100g.  One hank goes a long way.
Neve Blanket: Marrekesh
This new baby/adult throw has great interest!  The striping is an eyecatcher and the tassels really finish it in style.
Neve Hoodie for the little ones

Jump for Joy Hoodie is written for sizes Newborn to 8 years.  It looks and feels so good in Cotton Neve.

New Sock Yarns for Spring

Make this Basic Sock pattern your “Go-To” for our new Spring sock yarns.

New Jaiper sock yarn is a cotton/wool blend reminiscent of Sockotta, yet now with a touch of elastic for memory.  Feels really good on the hands while knitting and on the feet while wearing.

78% cotton plus acrylic and elastic nylon for soft cotton socks that will hold their shape.  No wool!

The striping effect is really fun.

Crystal Palace Bamboo Needles Offer Superior Performance, and we have them!
There are many reasons why Crystal Palace Bamboo needles and hooks have stood out over the years. They are strong, smooth, durable and very comfortable to use.

The quality of these products starts in the bamboo forest.  Bamboo is not a wood but rather a member of the grass family. It reaches maturity much more quickly than wood, which is why it is considered an ecologically-friendly, renewable resource.

The bamboo used in Crystal Palace products is specially-selected Japanese bamboo which is particularly hard and resilient, reinforced by its vascular bundles. These bundles, which transport nutrients to and from the plant, are directly related to the tensile strength of the bamboo.  In fact, the tensile strength of bamboo has been likened to that of steel!  It is this strength, along with special manufacturing processes, that gives CP needles  their “shock-absorbency” and resistance to breakage.

After the bamboo is harvested, dried and cured, it is formed into needles and hooks in a century-old factory. The needles and hooks are processed with steam to prevent warping.  They are polished with natural plant wax that penetrates the needle, adding smoothness and luster. The ends are tapered to a fine point, which are then hand-tested in cotton for smoothness.
